Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor will oversee daily operations at our Durban branch, ensuring that site activities run smoothly, safety standards are met, and client expectations are fulfilled. This position is essential for maintaining a productive and compliant work environment within the temporary employment services and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct basic site inductions and safety briefings for all personnel.
• Identify, assess, and manage occupational health and safety hazards.
• Implement and enforce site rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate staff scheduling, monitor shift coverage, and work closely with payroll data.
• Maintain client satisfaction by meeting service level expectations.
• Support labour‑related HR/IR processes, including disciplinary actions when required.
• Drive productivity improvements and ensure site organization.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar supervisory role within the Temporary Employment Services or Logistics & Warehousing industries.
• Strong communication abilities and a comfortable team‑leadership style.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Well‑organized with the capacity to mediate and resolve workplace issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
