Service Supervisor – Empangeni Branch

About the role

The Service Supervisor will lead and develop a team of service technicians at our Empangeni branch, ensuring world‑class service delivery and achievement of key performance indicators. This role combines hands‑on coaching, performance management, and compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set individual and team service targets in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
• Supervise daily activities of service colleagues, conducting regular performance reviews and interventions.
• Ensure all technicians are fully trained and competent before working unsupervised.
• Perform frequent on‑site Quality Assurance visits to guarantee service quality.
• Deliver in‑field coaching (minimum four sessions per colleague per year) and annual Technician Performance Assessments.
• Analyse assessment results, identify competency gaps and arrange targeted training.
• Maintain accurate records of coaching, training, and performance assessments.
• Support re‑training of internal staff and customer personnel on technical matters, in partnership with the Divisional Technical Management team.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental compliance in all service activities.
