Senior Specialist SEO

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist SEO to lead and innovate SEO activities across our regional markets. You will own end‑to‑end SEO projects, drive organic growth, and ensure best‑practice implementation to maximise conversions and ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Manage each SEO task from inception through reporting, including training or supporting team members when needed.
• Optimize on‑site elements such as content briefs, Core Web Vitals, and structured data to boost organic performance.
• Conduct comprehensive on‑site audits and ensure adherence to SEO best practices.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry news, algorithm updates, and emerging trends, sharing insights with the team.
• Report ROI and KPI progress to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and regional teams to identify commercial SEO opportunities and prioritize initiatives.
• Define regional SEO strategy with SEO managers or team leads.
• Perform backlink audits and manage white‑hat link‑building campaigns.

Required profile

• Full proficiency in German and business‑level English (both verified during interview).
• Minimum 6 years of SEO experience covering content, on‑page, and technical optimisation.
• Proven international SEO experience managing global domains and multilingual sites.

• Technical SEO (site architecture, crawlability, Core Web Vitals).
• On‑page SEO (content optimisation, keyword mapping, meta data).
