Senior SEO Specialist (German Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a senior SEO specialist who is fluent in German to join our fast‑moving fintech platform. Based in Cape Town, you will help drive organic growth across multiple international markets, supporting a Nasdaq‑listed, Fortune 100 financial services company.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end SEO projects from strategy and implementation to reporting and performance analysis.
• Conduct on‑site SEO audits, optimise technical elements, Core Web Vitals, structured data and site performance.
• Develop and execute content‑driven SEO strategies and support regional teams in identifying growth opportunities.
• Monitor algorithm updates, industry trends and emerging SEO techniques.
• Present ROI‑focused performance updates to senior stakeholders.
• Perform backlink audits and manage white‑hat link‑building campaigns.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.

Required profile

• Native or fluent German and business‑level English.
• Minimum 6 years of SEO experience covering technical, on‑page and content optimisation.
• Proven track record with international, multi‑language websites and multi‑region SEO.
• Strong analytical mindset with ROI‑driven reporting skills.
• Experience in financial services, trading or regulated industries is a plus.
