Senior Full‑Stack Engineer

About the role

Bookem is a mature SaaS platform for booking and scheduling. We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer who can work across backend, frontend, database, and product workflows, bringing strong computer‑science fundamentals to the team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain full‑stack product features.
• Design clean backend APIs, domain models, database migrations, and background jobs.
• Develop polished React interfaces using shared components.
• Debug complex issues across frontend, backend, workers, and data flows.
• Write focused tests and review code for correctness, maintainability, and production impact.
• Improve architecture incrementally without unnecessary rewrites.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python backend experience, preferably with FastAPI or other async frameworks.
• Strong TypeScript and React experience.
• Solid PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Experience with async or event‑driven systems.
• Clear written communication and careful code‑review habits.
• CS degree strongly preferred, or equivalent senior‑level experience with strong CS fundamentals.
