Senior Director, Communities

About the role

The Senior Director, Communities leads the strategic and operational direction of EO’s global Communities ecosystem. This senior leader shapes community strategy, ensures alignment with organizational priorities, and drives high‑impact programs for entrepreneurs worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term strategic plans and KPIs for all community products.
• Oversee the design, launch, and evolution of strategic, ambassador, and student entrepreneur award communities.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, including contract negotiation, live event design, and execution.
• Lead community staff and coordinate portfolio initiatives across regions.
• Drive member leadership development through training, recruitment, engagement, and assessment.
• Partner with member leaders and regional teams to co‑design and deliver in‑person and virtual programming.
• Ensure the health, value, and consistent delivery of community experiences globally.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of member needs and ability to translate them into valuable community offerings.
• Proven experience aligning community strategy with broader organizational goals.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Track record of managing global community programs and events.
• Excellent operational execution and process‑innovation skills.
