About the role

The Architectural & Design Practice based in Sandton is looking for a Senior Associate Architect or Senior Professional Architect to lead high‑profile projects and drive business growth. This senior role combines design leadership with strategic client development in a collaborative, design‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strategic business development and cultivate new client relationships.
• Represent the firm at industry events, exhibitions and professional forums.
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams, mentoring and motivating members to achieve creative excellence.
• Oversee architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, efficiency and innovation.
• Explore entrepreneurial opportunities to expand the practice.

Required profile

• Professional architect registered with SACAP.
• 8–12 years of post‑qualification experience in architectural design and project leadership.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale projects and delivering results.
• Strong business acumen with experience in client development.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
