Sales Assistant – Beachwear Retail

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our beachfront store in Camps Bay. The role involves providing friendly, fashion‑focused service to customers as the summer season approaches, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, offering advice on swimwear, beach apparel and related products.
• Maintain store cleanliness and good housekeeping standards.
• Assist with general merchandising, window displays and visual presentation following colour‑blocking guidelines.
• Perform administrative tasks such as stock handling, product tagging and handling customer queries or complaints.
• Support the Store Manager with day‑to‑day operations as needed.

Required profile

• Matriculation (high school) completed.
• Previous experience in fashion or retail is advantageous.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, confident and able to manage difficult situations.
• Organised, meticulous and able to follow policies and procedures.
• Trustworthy, reliable and customer‑focused with a passion for service excellence.
