Remote Game Developer (Java & libGDX)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Game Developer to create and enhance simple 2D game features using Java and the libGDX framework. You will work closely with AI specialists to design engaging interactions and help gather high‑quality training data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise 2D game components with Java and libGDX.
• Collaborate with AI experts to integrate interactive game elements.
• Implement core mechanics such as sprite handling, game loops, and input processing.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and help raise internal coding standards.
• Document technical processes and development workflows for cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of Java programming and object‑oriented principles.
• Hands‑on experience with libGDX from coursework, personal projects, or prototypes.
• Understanding of fundamental game development concepts (game loops, sprites, input management).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated interest in building games or interactive applications.
