Senior Software Engineer

About the role

GoGlobal is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Product Engineering team. You will work on a large API‑first platform revamp, delivering reliable, high‑quality code while shaping technical direction across the organization. This is an individual contributor role with no people‑management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, maintainable software solutions using TypeScript.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code for both frontend (React) and backend (Fastify, Drizzle, Effect).
• Lead technical design reviews, drive engineering best practices, and evaluate new tools.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex features, ensure high code quality, and address technical debt.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping reliable software at a senior level.
• Ability to influence technical direction and raise the engineering bar.
• Comfortable working in a large, fast‑moving engineering organization.
• Willingness to use AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to enhance productivity.
