Remote Frontend Developer (React) for UK Projects

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Frontend Developer with strong React experience to support a UK‑based employer. The position is fully remote and is ideal for a South African professional who can collaborate across time zones and deliver modern, responsive web interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features for multiple UK projects using React and TypeScript.
• Handle bug fixes, feature requests, and conduct code reviews promptly.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across different time zones.
• Maintain accurate development documentation, version control, and progress records.
• Utilise modern CI/CD pipelines, Git, and related tooling.
• Provide technical guidance, assist in sprint planning, and contribute to delivery.
• Identify and implement improvements for performance, accessibility, and user experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of frontend development experience, primarily with React.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience with UK clients or employers is a plus.
• Reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace.
