About the role
Nestlé is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead its KwaZulu‑Natal sales operations. You will act as the single point of contact for all sales‑related activities across the region, driving profitable growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve agreed targets for categories and products (NPS, sales out, field funds, bad goods, store evaluations).
- Develop and execute store spend plans with regional agents for franchise and independent stores, optimizing ROI.
- Manage dealer loaders, free goods, and ensure 100% promotional compliance and POS strike‑rate.
- Track Nconnect utilisation, conduct regular trade visits, and maintain accurate store reports.
- Drive on‑shelf availability and execute themed promotions, including digital recognition tracking.
- Ensure timely launch and distribution of new products across target stores.
- Lead monthly meetings with regional agents, reps, field marketers and merchandisers, and provide training on sales and product knowledge.
- Provide market insights, competitor activity reports, and price surveys via Nconnect.
Required profile
- Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of sales experience, with 3‑5 years in sales management within FMCG.
- Proven ability to meet targets and manage a regional sales team.
