Regional Manager - Northern Cape

About the role

The Regional Manager will lead the Kimberley office in originating, developing, packaging and facilitating high‑quality investment opportunities for small businesses and regional development projects. The role supports Strategic Business Units, drives financial sustainability and aligns activities with national industrial development priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the regional office in deal origination, assessment and due‑diligence for SME and larger business investments.
• Focus on agriculture, agro‑processing, mining‑linked projects, supplier development and rural economic growth.
• Manage the regional budget and ensure financial soundness of all recommendations.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with government bodies, industry associations, DFIs and corporate partners.
• Drive development impact, client service excellence and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Relevant commercial or technical degree; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• 8‑10 years experience in project, corporate or small‑business finance.
• 8‑10 years of deal origination experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership and team management experience.
• Proven ability to present to senior leaders and negotiate with specialist bodies and government institutions.
