Project Manager (Hybrid, Cape Town)

About the role

MRI Software is seeking a Project Manager to join its Global Professional Services team in Cape Town. You will lead multiple customer‑facing consulting and technology projects, ensuring high‑quality delivery and strong client satisfaction while working in a hybrid model (3 days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Deliver multiple concurrent SaaS implementation and consulting projects.
• Maintain quality standards and manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce accurate management reporting, forecasting invoicing and future income.
• Collaborate closely with sales, consulting, and operations teams to align resources and meet deliverables.
• Manage scope changes, schedule adjustments, and project risks.
• Lead meetings, communicate concepts persuasively, and handle day‑to‑day administration.
• Support business process improvements and uphold the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering external projects to clients.
• Experience with SaaS implementations (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• PMP certification or equivalent project‑management qualification.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to handle complex work.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
