Project Coordinator – Beef Genomics Programme

About the role

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager to deliver the Beef Genomics Programme within the Beef Genomics Program Consortium. This role ensures that all contractual obligations of the Agricultural Research Council are met while coordinating internal resources, third‑party vendors, and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in executing the Beef Genomics Programme.
• Coordinate internal teams with third‑party vendors and suppliers.
• Facilitate communication among researchers, collaborators, and funding agencies.
• Compile and distribute project reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and correspondence.
• Support supply‑chain management processes as required.
• Assist with payments, invoicing, and budget tracking.
• Capture project deliverables and monitor progress against the execution plan.
• Manage the project schedule and track performance against milestones.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Attend consortium and stakeholder meetings.
• Perform other project‑related duties as assigned.
