About the role
A well‑established company in Midrand is seeking a professional, well‑presented Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The role combines front‑desk duties with basic administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a four‑line switchboard with ten extensions, answer calls courteously and forward messages accurately.
- Welcome visitors, issue visitor tags, and arrange dust coats for production area tours.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area and boardrooms before and after meetings.
- Prepare tea and coffee for guests and manage hospitality supplies.
- Control stationery and grocery inventory, issue stock, and perform month‑end stock‑takes.
- Assist with filing, archiving, and other ad‑hoc administrative tasks.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
- Strong organisational abilities.
- Professional, friendly demeanour with a polished appearance.
- Requirement to wear professional and elegant attire at all times.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- General computer literacy.
