Professional Nurse – Cath Lab

About the role

Mediclinic is seeking a Professional Nurse to join its Cath Lab team. The role involves delivering safe, comprehensive, and high‑quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary environment, ensuring patient safety and a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi‑professional team.
• Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Support staff competence through a learning environment.
• Ensure accurate charging of all utilised stock and equipment.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in General Nursing (essential).
• Midwifery or postgraduate certificate/diploma in a relevant specialty (desired).
• No minimum experience required; 1 year post‑graduate qualification experience in a specialised unit is desirable.
