Medical Doctor – Full‑time On‑site Position

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Doctor to join our healthcare team in George on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality patient care, diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, and provide ongoing health guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and comprehensive clinical assessments.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and prescribe appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage medical records and ensure accurate care planning.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient‑centred approach in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBCHB, MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical licence to practice in South Africa.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical assessment and treatment abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Fluent Afrikaans speaking.
• Ability to thrive in an on‑site, high‑volume healthcare setting.

Required skills

• Upper GI endoscopy (advantageous).
