Production Supervisor

About the role

Daktronics designs, develops, manufactures and supports cutting‑edge LED digital display and audio systems. The Production Supervisor will work at our Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila plant, overseeing daily operations on a stable schedule (7 am‑5 pm Mon‑Thu, 7 am‑3 pm Fri with overtime as needed).

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coach and develop direct reports to meet high performance standards.
• Provide regular, timely feedback and conduct objective performance evaluations.
• Create individual development plans using skill matrices and work instructions.
• Facilitate internal mobility and participate in collaborative interview panels.
• Work with the Manager and HR to align staffing levels with current and forecast demand.
• Supervise multiple production areas including electronic assembly, final assembly, inventory, painting and metal‑forming.
• Perform daily safety audits, address identified risks, and take part in monthly safety meetings.

Required profile

• Strong ability to interact daily with direct reports and set clear expectations.
• Experience conducting performance reviews and developing talent.
• Collaborative mindset for interviewing and staffing decisions.
• Capability to oversee diverse production departments and ensure safety compliance.
