Production Manager (Pharmacist)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with a pharmacy background to lead our fast‑paced pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The role is ideal for a registered pharmacist who has strong GMP knowledge and hands‑on experience in aseptic processing within a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure output meets quality and safety standards.
• Maintain strict compliance with GMP, sterilisation, validation and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach and schedule production teams, ensuring effective supervision and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and optimise processes.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering and regulatory teams to resolve production issues.

Required profile

• B.Pharm degree and active registration as a pharmacist (SAPC).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• At least 1 year of experience in aseptic processing.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GMP, sterilisation, validation and pharmaceutical compliance standards.
