About the role
The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative is responsible for increasing the visibility and awareness of the company's pharmaceutical and medical products, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and maximising sales growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, primarily pharmacies.
- Schedule and conduct regular visits to pharmacies to promote company pharmaceutical products.
- Deliver and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Provide ongoing support to pharmacies regarding product range, enquiries, product information, training and clinical trials.
- Ensure all promotional activities comply with industry and regulatory policies.
- Conduct presentations and training sessions for healthcare professionals on product features, benefits and correct usage.
- Stay informed about the latest healthcare trends, competitor products and market opportunities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or a similar role (beneficial).
- B.Com or other business‑related degree.
- Driver’s licence (Code B) essential.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Required skills
- CRM software experience (beneficial).
- Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
