Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy (Klerksdorp)

About the role

Greenmed Pharmacy is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Pharmacist to join its Klerksdorp location. You will play a key part in delivering safe, effective medication services and health advice to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
• Review prescriptions for correctness, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide patients with clear guidance on drug usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Maintain and manage pharmaceutical stock, ensuring proper inventory levels.
• Keep accurate records in compliance with South African pharmacy regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support quality patient care.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or PharmD.
• Valid South African pharmacist licence.
• Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and dosing.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking for regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced community pharmacy.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is a plus.
