About the role

We are looking for a Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Medirite Kuruman. In this role you will lead the pharmacy team and ensure seamless, efficient operation of the pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Individual dispensing
• Pharmacy administration
• Housekeeping and stock control
• Customer service and sales
• Compliance and marketing campaigns
• Operational work planning and staff scheduling
• Operational performance monitoring
• People and capacity management / resourcing
• Manage cross‑functional relationships with prescribers, suppliers, head office, store manager and cash office
• Resolve escalated operational issues
• Budget management
• Develop and tutor staff, interns and assistants
• Motivate and discipline the team

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and develop a pharmacy team
• Experience ensuring pharmacy operations run smoothly and efficiently
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace
