About the role
We are looking for an energetic outbound Business Development Manager to drive new enterprise‑level revenue for Vox Telecom in Cape Town. The role focuses on identifying, developing and closing high‑value opportunities across the corporate market, engaging C‑level decision makers and delivering tailored ICT solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Generate 100 % new business across enterprise and corporate segments.
- Negotiate and present at board‑room level, positioning Vox as a strategic connectivity partner.
- Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline with consistent follow‑up.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to uncover opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance and Projects teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior business development colleagues.
- Report sales activity, pipeline status and market intelligence to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of B2B solution sales experience with a proven track record.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals with C‑level executives.
- Experience selling ICT and telecom solutions such as fibre, voice and security.
- Self‑motivated, disciplined and accountable with high energy and resilience.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
- Relevant degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is advantageous.
