Operations Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Logistics Coordinator will report to the Financial Director and be based in the Edenvale area of Johannesburg. This role supports the import and distribution of bulk raw materials by managing procurement, supplier relationships, shipment tracking and inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international and domestic sourcing, purchase order cycles and freight arrangements.
• Track shipments, manage customs documentation and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate ERP data, oversee stock availability and bulk stock transfers.
• Communicate with suppliers, couriers, warehouses and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Travel across borders to Mozambique, Zambia or Zimbabwe when required.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in buying and logistics coordination.
• Degree or diploma in logistics, freight, finance or commerce.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans, with a valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• Highly reliable, detail‑oriented and proactive.
