Operations Coordinator

About the role

Multilog is seeking an Operations Coordinator to lead and streamline its logistics operations across Africa and Belgium. The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, financial performance, and compliance with industry best practices for both upstream and downstream clients and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily operational activities of the logistics team.
• Manage financial performance and reporting for the operations department.
• Standardise processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Lead the implementation and support of freight and consolidation applications.
• Negotiate freight and service pricing with providers.
• Maintain strong relationships with service providers and customers to ensure high satisfaction.
• Plan, organise, and control operational workflows to meet delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• 7‑10 years of experience in freight forwarding and supply chain industry.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction and solve complex problems.
• Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems.
