About the role

Kaelo is seeking an Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner to join its Germiston clinic. The role combines occupational health services with primary health care, ensuring the wellbeing of employees and compliance with legal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide occupational health and primary health care, including injury‑on‑duty (IOD) and emergency response.
• Conduct medical surveillance examinations and accurately record findings.
• Interpret surveillance results and refer complex cases to the Occupational Health Medical Practitioner.
• Manage clinic documentation and maintain health‑risk assessment records.
• Ensure the on‑site clinic complies with all relevant legislation and regulations.

Required profile

• Professional Nurse registration with SANC, SASOHN and DoH.
• Qualification in Occupational Health (advantageous) and at least 2 years of experience in an occupational health setting.
• Certificates in dispensing, audiometry and spirometry.
• Strong ethical standards, customer orientation and teamwork mindset.
