Marketing Video Content Strategist (Junior / Mid-Level)

About the role

We are seeking a creative Marketing Video Content Strategist to develop and execute short‑form video campaigns across multiple brands. The role blends strategic thinking, storytelling, video production and AI‑driven content creation to boost audience engagement and conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Research social media trends and viral formats to inform innovative content strategies.
• Develop content calendars, scripts, storyboards and creative briefs aligned with brand objectives.
• Film and direct short‑form video shoots, integrating live‑action footage with AI‑generated visuals.
• Edit videos, add motion graphics, captions and sound design to optimise retention on platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.
• Utilise AI tools to generate video and image assets, continuously experimenting with new AI‑driven techniques.
• Analyse performance metrics, test different hooks and formats, and recommend optimisation tactics.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Film, Communications or a related field (advantageous).
• At least 1 year of experience creating short‑form video content with a demonstrable portfolio.
• Strong understanding of audience psychology, social media platforms and conversion‑focused storytelling.

• Motion graphics software proficiency.
