About the role
The company is seeking an experienced Manual Pattern Maker to join its clothing production team in Durban. The role focuses on creating accurate patterns for ladieswear collections, translating designers’ sketches into production‑ready templates. The successful candidate will draft, adjust and finalise pattern pieces, ensuring fit, construction standards and production efficiency are achieved.
Required profile
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a manual pattern maker, demonstrating the ability to work independently.
- Diploma in Clothing Technology or Fashion, providing a solid technical foundation.
- Proven experience with ladieswear, handling both basic and intricate designs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to visualise the finished garment from a designer’s sketch.
- Good technical aptitude combined with effective communication skills.
