Management Couple for Private Game Lodge

About the role

A private corporate game lodge in Bela Bela is looking for an experienced Management Couple to run the full operations of a small, exclusive lodge. The role combines lodge management, kitchen oversight and guiding duties to deliver a seamless, high‑quality guest experience in a bush setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring smooth and professional service delivery.
• Manage guest hosting, from arrival to departure, and maintain exceptional guest experiences.
• Handle kitchen management and food preparation as required.
• Conduct guided activities and bush experiences for guests.
• Lead a small team, coordinate schedules and departmental tasks.
• Maintain lodge standards, service quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, lodge procedures and hospitality standards.
• Build strong relationships with guests and represent the lodge professionally.

Required profile

• RSA ID and legal residence in South Africa.
• Previous experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star game lodge environment.
• Relevant guiding and chef qualifications.
• Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management.
• Strong organisational, leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a small team and uphold high operational standards.
• Passion for hospitality, guest service and the bush environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• No dependents or pets permitted due to lodge location.

• Combined salary of R45,000 per month.
