About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Clerk to support our production and administrative functions. The role involves ensuring accurate documentation of production orders, managing purchase requisitions, and coordinating with warehouse and finance teams to resolve queries.
Key responsibilities
- Govern general administrative tasks and ensure compliance.
- Confirm production orders, verify bulk quantities and record machine labor hours.
- Monitor production order variances and update reporting tools.
- Capture and file production information based on reports.
- Follow up on production‑related queries affecting stock, working with warehouse and finance.
- Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Goods Received Notes (GRNs), monitor open orders.
- Maintain structured spreadsheets for reporting and tracking.
- Coordinate the closing of work orders.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification with a relevant diploma.
- 2‑3 years experience in a production or FMCG environment.
- Strong numerical aptitude and effective time management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑driven, innovative and able to work under pressure.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP within a packaging environment (advantageous).
