Loader – Bread Loading & Dispatch

About the role

The Loader is responsible for the efficient daily loading and off‑loading of bread at our distribution site. You will ensure that every truck leaves on time with the correct products, while maintaining high standards of quality and stock rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Load bread onto trucks according to picking slips.
• Manage stock transfers and Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs).
• Count trays, balance loads, and ensure accurate tray documentation.
• Attend daily Invocom sessions and generate daily reports.
• Maintain FIFO stock rotation and verify product quality before loading.
• Account for all stock received and dispatched.
• Ensure on‑time truck departures and assist with any queries.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 months experience in a similar FMCG loading role.
• Willingness to work until the last truck is loaded, including weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Ability to relieve dispatch clerks and make Invocom presentations.
• Strong numerical ability, sense of urgency, accountability, and teamwork.
