About the role
We are seeking a passionate KS1 Class Teacher to join our South academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising attainment standards, delivering high‑quality lessons and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS1 curriculum that meets diverse learning and social needs.
- Record, assess and report pupil progress accurately and timely.
- Maintain the school’s core values and positive ethos both inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and colleagues to support whole‑school improvement.
Required profile
- Commitment to equity, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively with pupils, parents and staff.
Required skills
- Strong classroom management techniques.
- Effective lesson planning and assessment strategies.
