Junior IT Administrator – Pretoria

About the role

Our client in Pretoria is looking for a motivated Junior IT Administrator to join a fully office‑based team. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of IT support experience, preferably from a call‑centre environment, who are eager to develop their technical skills in a fast‑paced setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support and respond to help‑desk tickets.
• Assist with the maintenance of IT systems, hardware, software and networking infrastructure.
• Support the setup, update and troubleshooting of telephone and PABX systems.
• Track and manage IT equipment and assets.
• Collaborate with senior staff to ensure smooth day‑to‑day technical operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of IT support experience, preferably in a call‑centre supporting ~500 users.
• Relevant IT qualification (Diploma or Degree).
• CompTIA Network+ (N+) and A+ certifications – mandatory.
• Strong exposure to PABX telephone systems.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking.
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills with a willingness to learn.
