Junior Financial Modeller – Financial Modelling Team

About the role

Join PwC Deals' fast‑growing financial modelling team as a Junior Financial Modeller. You will work alongside experienced modellers on a variety of client engagements, gaining exposure to both domestic and cross‑border projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support a broad range of financial modelling engagements, including operational, transaction and project finance models.
• Meet with senior client personnel to understand model requirements and business context.
• Prepare documentation that captures client expectations and model specifications.
• Develop financial models based on detailed client inputs.
• Workshop models with clients, explaining functionality and presenting findings.
• Critically analyse existing models for best‑practice compliance and accuracy.
• Write detailed reports highlighting issues and recommendations.
• Present reports and model insights to clients.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Finance or IT.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial modelling.
• Strong financial skills with a solid understanding of accounting and IFRS.
• Problem‑solving capability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Desire to deepen commercial and industry knowledge.
• High agility in a demanding environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including report writing.
