Team Leader – Procurement Services

About the role

WNS is seeking a Team Leader for its Procurement Services function. The role oversees the Supply Chain (SC) and Accounts Payable (AP) sections, ensuring operations meet Service Level Agreements and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sectional matters with focus on control, quality and turnaround.
• Coordinate HR activities and foster a positive work environment.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Validate report integrity and provide accurate data for decision‑making.
• Analyse information, scrutinise documents and initiate necessary adjustments.
• Lead, coach and support Associates, delivering feedback and development plans.
• Review business processes and recommend ongoing improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and handle customer queries.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12; post‑matric qualification in Accounting & Finance preferred.
• 2‑3 years of relevant operational experience, preferably in a BPO environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage night‑shift US operational hours and deliver results.
• Strong numerical and analytical aptitude.
