Inventory Assistant – Warehouse Stock Management

About the role

The Inventory Assistant will support the warehouse and supply‑chain teams by maintaining accurate stock records in our ERP system and ensuring all inventory movements are captured and reconciled. This role is critical for achieving high inventory accuracy and supporting audit compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records in SAP WMS, posting receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, PGIs and production confirmations.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts, full stocktakes and support year‑end audits.
• Investigate stock variances, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Track slow‑moving, obsolete and blocked stock and prepare regular inventory performance reports.
• Ensure documentation integrity (batch numbers, lot codes, COAs, delivery notes) for audit traceability.
• Collate and forward documentation for invoicing, reconcile delivery notes with SAP and weighbridge systems.
• Uphold health, safety and ISO (9002, 14001, 18000) standards in warehouse and cold‑store environments.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently and follow SOPs and internal controls.
• Good communication skills for liaising with Supply Chain, Finance and audit teams.

Required skills

• SAP WMS (ERP) proficiency.
• Knowledge of ISO 9002, ISO 14001 and ISO 18000 standards.
• Experience with inventory cycle counting and variance analysis.
