Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

About the role

Momentum Health is seeking an Intermediate Cloud & Systems Support Engineer to join its ICT infrastructure team. You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and monitoring cloud and enterprise services within a Microsoft Azure environment, ensuring high availability and performance for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support and administration for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Monitor, maintain and optimise cloud infrastructure, systems and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to servers, cloud services, networks and storage.
• Deliver second‑line technical support to end users and business stakeholders.
• Administer Azure AD, Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Assist with user access, permissions and security administration.
• Support backup, storage, monitoring and security solutions.
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, maintenance and vendor escalation.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with ICT governance and security standards.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification with a relevant IT diploma or certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• 2–4 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure support.
• Microsoft Azure certification (minimum AZ‑900) – additional Azure certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Active Directory/Azure AD, Windows Server and Exchange Online.
