Group Manager – Enterprise Resource Planning Platforms

About the role

The Group Manager for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Platforms leads the strategic and tactical direction of Aspen’s ERP landscape within the Digital Technology organisation. Reporting on the design, governance and lifecycle of enterprise ERP capabilities, the role ensures alignment with global business operations in the pharmaceutical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the ERP platform strategy, target architecture and governance framework.
• Lead a team of ERP platform specialists across finance, supply chain and related enterprise platforms.
• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of the SAP ecosystem, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, EWM, TM, Finance, GRC, BTP and SuccessFactors.
• Ensure ERP roadmaps, release management, data integrity and operational performance meet business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Manage financial governance of the ERP platform, covering licence management, operating costs, capital expenditure and investment planning.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in ERP architecture and platform management.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary ERP teams.
• Strong understanding of global pharmaceutical business processes and regulatory expectations.
• Ability to balance functional, risk and sustainability considerations in architectural decisions.
