Graphic/Packaging Designer

About the role

Carrol Boyes is looking for a mid‑level Graphic/Packaging Designer to join the Merchandise Department. The role focuses on creating premium, retail‑ready packaging and product artwork for a design‑led brand.

Key responsibilities

• Design, adapt and update packaging artwork for new and existing products.
• Apply brand artwork, patterns, imagery and finishes consistently across all packaging formats.
• Create and adapt graphic artwork for product surfaces, including decals, patterns and placements.
• Prepare accurate, print‑ready files for factories, printers and suppliers.
• Review proofs, ensure artwork accuracy and manage version control before production.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Art, Replenishment and external factories to resolve artwork and production queries.
• Maintain an organised digital artwork library with strict version control.
• Brief and coordinate packaging or product photography when required.

Required profile

• 3+ years of graphic design experience with a strong focus on packaging and print.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design or a related field.
• Commercially aware, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong communicator and collaborative team player.
