Full‑Stack Python/Django Developer (Cape Town)

About the role

You will join Amaris Consulting as a Full‑Stack Developer working on client‑facing applications. Based in Cape Town, you will spend two days a week in the CBD office and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver robust, high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django or Flask.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Implement front‑end features with React.
• Manage and optimise SQL databases for performance.
• Implement authentication mechanisms such as JSON Web Tokens.
• Maintain version control using GitHub and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in process automation and integration of generative AI tools where relevant.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience on client‑facing projects.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
