Fullstack JavaScript Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join a fast‑moving team in Cape Town. The role focuses on building and maintaining modern web applications using Node.js and React.js while collaborating in an innovative, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and React.js.
• Work with SQL databases to implement data storage and retrieval.
• Participate in code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipeline activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Systems.
• Minimum 3 years of overall software development experience.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and React.js.
• Solid experience working with SQL database systems.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
