Financial Controller – Newly Qualified CA(SA)

About the role

The Financial Controller will support the finance leadership team and ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance and controls across the South African operation. This role offers a newly qualified CA(SA) the chance to transition from audit to industry and gain commercial finance experience within a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial reports.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Perform financial analysis and management reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Monitor and strengthen financial controls and processes.
• Support tax, statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Provide financial insights to business stakeholders for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Qualified CA(SA) with recent articles (Big 4 or mid‑tier advantageous).
• Newly qualified or up to 3 years post‑articles experience.
• Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What we offer

• Salary: R600,000 – R700,000 CTC per annum.
• Hybrid working model – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
