Finance Manager – Automotive Dealership

About the role

Our client, a motor dealership in Rustenburg, is looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis and reporting. The role will support strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with South African financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting processes to guarantee accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that improve profitability and cash flow.
• Prepare detailed forecasts and budgets, delivering insights to senior management.
• Analyse performance metrics, identify trends and recommend cost‑saving actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial goals with operational plans.
• Monitor key performance indicators and produce periodic stakeholder reports.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of finance professionals.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; professional certification (CIMA, CA(SA)) is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial management, analysis and reporting, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of South African financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
