Field Service Technician - Office Automation

About the Position

Are you a hands-on technical expert with a passion for customer excellence? We are looking for a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team in Durban, providing essential support and maintenance for high-end office automation equipment directly at our clients' premises.

Main Missions

• Provide high-quality technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for various office automation devices.
• Manage and respond to service calls efficiently to ensure minimal downtime for clients.
• Perform hardware and software diagnostics and repairs on-site.
• Configure, maintain, and network printing and imaging solutions.
• Ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
• Manage daily travel schedules to visit multiple client sites effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) within the office automation or technical field service sector.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines independently.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for daily travel.
