Donor Recruiter – Blood Drive Recruitment Specialist

About the role

The Donor Recruiter is responsible for attracting and guiding blood donors at scheduled blood drives, ensuring a smooth and positive donation experience while meeting collection targets.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in donor recruitment pilot studies and handle donor queries and complaints.
• Prepare and display advertising materials (flyers, posters, banners) before each blood drive.
• Coordinate with blood‑drive controllers, peer promoters, and clinic supervisors to confirm venue suitability and logistics.
• Welcome donors, provide information pamphlets, highlight safety posters, and offer refreshments.
• Monitor donor flow to reduce waiting times and refer medical questions to the clinic supervisor.
• Submit weekly recruitment reports and recommend improvements.
• Assist in arranging marketing functions, branch promotions, and exhibitions.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education.
• Marketing or Public Relations certificate (minimum 6 months).
• Valid Code B manual driving licence.
• Basic computer literacy, especially MS Office.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
