Director – Data‑Driven Consulting & Analytics

About the role

We are seeking a senior Director to lead data‑driven consulting and analytics initiatives for our financial services clients in Johannesburg. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on delivery, guiding multi‑disciplinary teams to create innovative solutions that drive business value.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver consulting and analytics programmes, identifying new data‑related opportunities for clients.
• Resolve complex strategic problems and set roadmaps for client program delivery.
• Manage multi‑affiliate project structures and coordinate with Product, Marketing and Client Services teams.
• Lead, review and mentor junior consultants and analysts.
• Develop project pitches, secure new assignments and deliver client training.
• Incorporate global best practices, ensure compliance with model risk, analytics and privacy standards.
• Oversee consulting budgets, resources and talent management within the team.

Required profile

• More than 12 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong consulting and client‑engagement expertise.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
