DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract ($80/hr)

About the role

We are looking for a remote DevOps Engineer to evaluate, document, and improve the usability of our engineering and data toolset. You will work on a flexible contract basis, providing actionable insights that help our teams increase productivity and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of tools such as GitHub, Azure, Metabase, and JIRA and produce detailed feedback reports.
• Create comprehensive documentation, use‑cases, and technical guides based on real‑world usage.
• Design, review, and test workflows that integrate cloud solutions and developer productivity platforms.
• Analyze data‑visualisation, monitoring, and CI/CD tools for integration opportunities and process improvements.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, delivering clear written and verbal recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong experience with engineering, developer tooling, and cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on technical accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to turn complex technical feedback into actionable improvement proposals.
