Data Analyst

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Data Analyst to support business strategy through data collection, analysis, and reporting. You will work independently to explore data, build dashboards, and provide insights that drive performance improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and capture business requirements using interviews, workshops and document analysis.
• Explore, manipulate and analyse data using primary sources and business intelligence tools.
• Support advanced analytics interpretation with specialised software.
• Recommend improvements to data and analytics systems through root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare and deliver data reports, dashboards and visualisations to answer business questions.
• Consult stakeholders on data architecture standards to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Collect, collate and analyse data independently using prescribed tools and methods.
