Construction Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Planner to support our project teams in delivering medium to large‑scale construction projects. The role involves analysing tender documents, creating detailed schedules and assisting with cost and programme management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tender documents and develop a resource‑based tender programme.
• Create, maintain and update project schedules using appropriate planning tools.
• Assist in pricing preliminaries in line with programme requirements.
• Prepare method statements when required.
• Support Contract Managers and site teams in compiling detailed construction programmes and related information.
• Monitor and regularly update contract programmes on site.
• Develop cause‑and‑effect programmes to substantiate extension of time claims.

Required profile

• Proven experience across a range of construction projects, preferably with a medium to large construction company.
